On Options Load
Handle external_select options loading (block_suggestion payload).
This endpoint is called by Slack when a user interacts with an external_select element. It supports dynamic repository search with pagination.
The endpoint:
- Authenticates the Slack user
- Searches for repositories matching the user’s query
- Returns up to 100 options for the dropdown
Note: “No Repository” is handled by a separate button in the form, so it’s not included in the dropdown options. Error cases return an empty list.
Configuration: Set the Options Load URL in Slack App settings to: https://your-domain/slack/on-options-load
